Pumpkin Farm

We haven't had much of a chance lately to do anything fun with the girls so we decided that we would take them to one of the local pumpkin farms to pick pumpkins this year. It was a smaller farm then the one we went to before but the girls still enjoyed it. (They probably would have enjoyed it more if it hadn't taken us an hour and a half to get there! Construction UGH!) The pumpkins in the field we all pretty big so we got one big one for Daddy to carve and the girls each picked a pie pumpkin to take home and decorate. Sorry I didn't think to take a picture of them with their pumpkins. I will have to do that once the big one is craved. Here are some pics that pretty much sum up the day.

As for moving plans, after doing some research, I found a website where you can list your house on MLS and Realtor.com for a decent price, so we have now decided to try to sell the house on our own. One of the things that bothered us about the management company and renting out the house was that they told us they wouldn't be able to charge as much rent to someone moving in around the holidays. The MLS listing is for a 3 month chuck of time so we figure we will try to sell until we get past the holidays and then if we haven't gotten any takers, we still can rent it out through a management company. Jeff had the day off yesterday which we spent rearrangeing the house and finishing the trim in the bathroom so that we could take some pictures for the listing. It is all coming together, but it is nice not to feel so rushed about the move at the moment. We would still like to be gone tomorrow if that was possible, but we know it will happen when it is supposed too. Have I mentioned lately that I hate waiting?

'Fun pictures. It doesn't feel like fall out here, so thanks sharing the good ol' mid-west farm fall pics. And good luck on the waiting to move--'hope it's not too long.
