Aloe Plants

I have heard that an aloe plant can flower, but in all my years of growing aloes, I have never seen it. This year, our aloes surprised us. After reading up on them, I learned that the biggest reason that aloes don't flower is lack of light and they usually don't flower until then are a more mature plant. This plants are only about 2 years old (when bought them as babies not long after moving here) but they get a lot of sun. The avocado is doing pretty good too.

Update: This is the aloe about a month later. We ended up with two flower stocks on each plant and we have 3 babies growing. They need bigger pots!
