END IN SIGHT!!!!

DECEMBER 5th

That will be the day that Ashley Nicole Maughan comes into the world. The doctors all worked their schedules out and discussed when it would be best and decided to go with 34 weeks so that Ashley would be far enough along to be safe, but that hopefully Cari will not go into labor beforehand.

So...now we now a date! But we won't know all the details of what Ashley will need/go thru until after she is born and is able to be evaluated. She will be transferred up to Children's Mercy here in KC at some point after her birth for her surgery for her jaw (that one we know she will need). More info will have to come as we get it.

For now, we are planning our Thanksgiving with Anthony & Jess, and Dave & Ange and respective families. We decided on Chicken Kiev, a mexican cake for dessert, Clam Chowder, Pinapple, shishkabobs, and who knows what else. I think we'll manage to have a non-traditional Thanksgiving. Of course, there will be games and lots of fun.
