It has been an interesting month to say the least. It started with the car breaking while moving and has now ended with the Flu. Yes, not just a small cold, but the full blown influenza virus for both the girls and probably me as well at some point. Rachel started us off with a fever about two weeks ago and we have all taken turns with fevers, runny noses, and coughs since then. Kaitlyn was out of school most of this week with a fever off and on and last night she developed a persistent cough so we decided that we should probably have them both looked at. Rachel they say is mostly over it all at this point so we just have to continue to treat the symptoms. Kaitlyn however has an ear infection which is probably contributing to the cough. So she is now on an antibiotic as well as increasing her asthma meds until she is better and of course, treating the symptoms. Somehow, Jeff has managed to dodge the bullet and has stayed healthy through it all. Hopefully, that will continue to be the case. I am mostly over the flu, but it is hard to recover completely when I am constantly up with the girls.

We have also had some major storms in the area in the past couple of days, but they mostly went around us. We are surviving, but this has been a very hard move. The girls seem to be handling it all well. Luckily, they are young and adjust to new situations easily. We are about as settled in as we are going to get in our new place. It is always an adjustment moving from place to place but going back to apartment living after enjoying the freedom of your own house has been hard. Luckily, the neighbors here are mostly quiet.

Speaking of houses, we have had a few offers on the house in Kansas City, but so far nothing has gone through. One was turned down by the bank and another pulled out for some reason. We will wait and see what happens with the spring market opening up.

Jeff has enjoyed doing sales in the area for work. However, he has mostly exhausted the body shops and dealers in the area so has been traveling a little farther from the city when possible. We are hopeful that we will not be here for long but are trying to make the most of while we can. Prayers are always appreciated.
