The end in site

Our trip to Missouri was a lot of fun. We got to spend time with all the family and just had a nice relaxing trip. The girls did great with all the driving and really enjoyed seeing all their cousins. It is always fun for me to see how my kids pair off with the other kids. Kaitlyn and Lea were attached at the hip while we were in Springfield, as expected. Rachel spent most of her time with James. It was so cute to watch them play follow the leader around the rock at Grandma and Grandpa's house as they ate ice cream cones. In St Louis, it kind of depended on the day as to who played with who, but Rachel and Addy spent a lot of time together. It was nice to not have anything major we had to do so we could just play it by ear and do whatever we felt like for the day. Especially since it was SOOOOO hot.
While we were in St. Louis, we got the official approval from work to move the family. Since being home, we have made a couple of trips to Indianapolis to look for houses. It as been a long and frustrating process as we have debated when to move and whether or not we should get a house or apartment. I am happy to say that we have finally found a house in Avon, IN and will be moving in September 1st. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath with a fenced in back yard and garage. It will be about a 15 min drive for Jeff to get to work and it is close to EVERYTHING that I could possible want to do. I am so excite to have space for the kids to run around without the distractions, restrictions, and noises of apartment life (I say as a dog in our build is barking constantly). The school the girls will be attending is a brand new school and very highly ranked. They are on the year round schedule so they started Aug 1st, but this means that we will get a 2 week break in October, at Christmas, and Spring Break at the end of March.
Work for Jeff has been very frustrating and exhausting. I will leave it at that. He will get to start his drive back this weekend so he will be home in time for us to make all the needed arrangements for the move and to help with the process. We don't have all the answers yet. We still don't know when exactly he will be able to start working in Indy, but there is definitely an end in site. He might have to spend his weeks in Louisville and weekends in Indy for a couple weeks but that will be so much better then it has been. He has been told to break the lease here at the end of September so we will definitely be a normal family again by October.

Soon we'll have no excuse not to rendezvous and do something fun in Indy (well, except maybe that little one you're expecting...) Good luck with moving and such.
