Willow River Falls

Labor Day is one of the few holidays that Jeff actually gets off so we decided to make a day of it and go across the border into Wisconsin to see a waterfall. There is actually one here in St Paul, but we thought it would be more fun to be able to say we have been in Wisconsin as well. It was a beautiful day and the walk to the falls (and the climb back up the hill) was well worth it.

Kaitlyn is getting pretty good at taking pictures.

After the waterfall, we went to the Teddy Bear park in Stillwater. And then it was off to sample an ice cream shop that friends had told us about. Keep in mind that these next pictures were an after thought and so the ice cream was already being consumed by the time they were taken. And this was a SINGLE, kids size scoop. SOOOO Yummy!

Over all a great day that was finished off with a sugar coma induced nap.
