10 Years

Kaitlyn has officially reached the double digits! Poor Kaitlyn. She always seems to get the short end of the stick for her birthday. We tried to make it fun this year by going to see a movie and having friends over for fried chicken and cake, but it still seemed to get swallowed in between Mom's unexpected surgery (I had to have my appendix removed. It really wasn't worth a whole blog post so it gets honorary mention here.) and packing up the house and moving. This picture is a great one of the classic "really Mom?" look that I am already starting to get on a regular basis. Right now, her favorite color is blue, she loves anything that has something to do with animals, especially ocean animals, and she loves crafts. Kaitlyn is still learning to play the piano and continues to amazing me with how quickly she is moving through the lessons. She is already starting to play some of the songs in the Primary Hymn book. She is a great help around the house, especially with Lexi. She really is starting to transform into a beautiful young lady.
