Peacocks

Art projects have helped me to keep my sanity over the past couple of months. As we started talking about a new house with the girls, one of the ways that we have tried to help them have a positive attitude about moving is by talking about decorations for their new rooms. Rachel has recently fell in love with peacocks and since we were creating artwork for Kaitlyn's room, I decided to make something for Rachel as well. Before you get too impressed with my painting skills, the branch and peacock were done with stencils (cut with my FABULOUS Cameo). I did free hand the backgrounds but seriously, it isn't that hard to blend a little paint. I am very pleased with how they turned out and Rachel LOVES them. They were probably the first thing in her new room. :)
